Beautiful You

On your wedding day you want to look your very best and a touch of makeup to enhance your features is what is required.

Hiring a makeup artist for the task is a good idea, it takes the pressure off you and its nice to be pampered.

Its not cheap and can range from £30 including trial to the very expensive but if your on a budget, here are a few ideas and tips.

I am a great fan of Clinique, as someone with a very sensitive skin its just perfect.

Clinique Superfit foundation is fantastic, stays on all day, even in humidity and gives great coverage.  If you prefer a more sheer look try Clinique Gentle Light foundation it works great with the Gentle Light Loose Powder.

To cover up those dark circles Touche Eclat by YSL is a must or Boots No.7 Radiance Concealer is another favourite.

For that deadly spot, Clinique's Airbrush concealer is, excuse the pun, spot on or No.7 Calm & Conceal.

Now for powder try Clinique Stay-Matte Sheer or Clarins Shine Stopper Powder Compact to keep you looking naturally matte all day long.

Now if your scared of using eyeshadow brushes, then you just have to try Clinique's Touch Tint For Eyes, very easy to apply and long lasting.

Colour Quartet For Eyes by Clarins is great for long wearing results.

Another fab eyeshadow is MAC soft brown matte, makes blue eyes even bluer.

The eyes would not be complete without eye liner and my personal favourite is Estee Lauder's Automatic Pencil For Eyes in Gun Metal or Clarins Waterproof Eye Pencil.

A few tears will be shed, so go for a waterproof mascara. Max Factor Masterpiece Waterproof Mascara or Lash Visor by Stila

Now lips have to be kissable but the lipstick unremoveable, so try L'Oreal's Platinum Invincable, Clinique Long Lasting Lipstick or Max Faxtors Lipfinity Reflections is a good option.

To extend wear, line and fill lips with pencil. Follow with an application of lipstick. Quick Liner for Lips by Clinique is long-wearing, never needs sharpening. Transfer-resistant, water-resistant and non-feathering.  Theres also Avon's Glimmerstick Lip Liner cheaper which I use as well.

Finally, for that perfect blush, Blushing Blush Powder Blush, yes by Clinique or No7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour.

These are all my own personal choices but you have to make your own.

Go to your favourite make up counter, explain that your getting married and ask for their advice. They may even give you a makeover, you can only ask.

Good luck
